I am creating two web applications with Vaadin. In development, I'm running each using Jetty running on different ports. I'm using Firefox and I have two tabs, one for each web application. Unfortunately when I switch between the tabs, I'm getting a session timeout. It doesn't happen when I only run one of the applications. I have to have both running. Since the applications are independent, why do they seem to be effecting each other which results in a session timeout within seconds when switching between the two Firefox tabs.
I understand my problem now. The two applications are using the same cookie key for localhost. Thus, the browser can only store one of the cookies. I'm no expect on cookies. Is there a way for Vaadin to store multiple cookies for multiple Vaadin applications running on the same host?
