Our company is currenly evaluating different mobile UI technologies.
As we have already invested in Vaadin, I was wondering what the viability of Vaadin TouchKit is? It doesn’t seem to be very active at the moment.
Can anyone provide some insight?

There is a completely rewritten version 2.0 in progress here:

It is not ready, but should be in somewhat usable state in case you wish to build own snapshot of it with Maven.
Lately we have been busy fixing last issues before 6.6 release and related development tools. Note that 6.6 itself provides much improved support for touch based devices.
We should soon start to build a demo app that stresses the new version, fix issues that arise and then release it.
