Chrome and duplicated history in Back / Forward buttons

Has anyone else noticed an issue with Chrome and the history shown when holding the mouse button down on the back button?

For our application this problem is evident for both Vaadin 7 and Vaadin 6 (we initially thought it was a problem with Vaadin 7). So every time you browse to a page, two entries are shown in the history.

This behaviour is only seen with Chrome (I am using version 27), both IE version 9 and Firefox version 21 do not have this problem.

I just tried it in my Chrome (v23) and i didn’t notice such a problem.

Does the same thing occur when you try a new Test Application?

A very good point. No it doesn’t when I try an application from scratch. So clearly a problem with our application!
Should have thought to check that myself.
