Chameleon Theme Editor - manually entering color hex values?

I’ve used the on-line version of the
Chameleon Theme Editor
as well as installed on my localhost Tomca/Jetty instances, and I get the same behavior: I’d like to be able to manually enter or paste in hex color values into the color editor popup. Is this user error on my part?

I often find myself using eyedroppers in Firefox and Photoshop to work colors into my stylesheet(s) while I’m translating my static design (HTML/PSD) to my Vaadin app. There are plenty of color picker examples on the web, and many of them not only allow you to choose the colors the way the color editor popup is currently implemented, but also lets one enter hex/hsv/rgb values by hand…

This is a wonderful add-on otherwise! -_-

This feature should definitely be in the the
Vaadin Colorpicker add-on
(which is used in the Chameleon Theme editor). Feel free to add a ticket to our Trac for it.
