there is a way to disable backspace browser eventthe go to the previous page?
Often the user push backspace to delete some character anche the browser go to the previous page.

In a word, no : it is not possible to disable the back-button. This is not a limitation of Vaadin, but a feature of the browser environment. There are some javascript “hacks” (e.g. http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/disable-prevent-back-button-in-browser), but they wouldn’t work with vaadin - and, even if they did, they are fragile.
