Hi,
I had 3 vaadin projects done in 6.8.5. I picked the simplest one and started to convert it today. After changing the facet, I got 1000 errors. All my plan of urifragment, Notification, subwindow, user controls, even the Sizeable stopped need to be changed. It is amazing how major changes are needed to just upgrade Vaadin. Who knows what will happen in Vaadin 8? Imagining if Java API has been changed this way, Java would have been dead from 1.4->1.5
I just want to know how many of you are fighting the same catastrophe as I do? Maybe we can share experiences.
