As long as you can still use Vaadin 6

We develop for months our software implementation in Vaadin.
The change from 6 to 7 would move the project in the long run to the rear.

With version 6 currently all works very well. -_-

Is it really necessary now to upgrade to 7?

Thanks for any thoughts.

I plan on sticking w/ V6 for at least the next 6-9 mos. I’ve got Vaadin portlets in production and the V7 branch needs further testing, refinement, and polish. 6.8.9 appears to be working out really well, even w/ the recent push of IE10 to win7 boxes, so I have no pressing need to be on V7 tomorrow.

V6 is supported until Summer 2014, so there is still time.
