Vaadin 6.4.8 available

Merry binary day! (62 in decimal)

Vaadin 6.4.8 was published at the download site already in Tuesday. There were some minor issues related to the released documentation (Eclipse Manual plugin, etc), but they are now fixed. The Book of Vaadin plugin for Eclipse Help is now updated more timely for every Vaadin release.

The 6.4.8 is the latest maintenance release in the 6.4 series and includes a small number of important bug fixes. See the
list of closed issues
in Vaadin Trac for a detailed change log. For other release information, see the
Release Notes
.

We aim to release Vaadin 6.5.0 pre1 in two or so weeks with many exciting enhancements. Nevertheless, the 6.4 releases will continue until 6.5 is out. Problem fixes and enhancements planned for upcoming releases can be found from the
Vaadin Roadmap
in Vaadin Trac.

Get the installation package from the download site at
http://vaadin.com/download
. If you are using the Vaadin Plugin for Eclipse, upgrade the Vaadin version from the project preferences. If using Maven, the repositories will replicate in a few hours.

As always, when upgrading from an earlier version, you should recompile any custom widget sets and refresh your project in Eclipse. See the
General Upgrade Notes
for more details on upgrading.
