When the user stops the app for a few minutes and uses the app again, it crashes and the progress bar is running … for about 15 seconds …
Is there a way to resolve this?

Sounds like a weird issue; there’s not much to say with your description. Try creating a minimal reproducible example - that should narrow down the cause.
I will attach a video, demonstrating what happens … knowing that I left the app stopped for about 15 min
