Another question: the (latest?) Eclipse plugin for Vaadin which supports Vaadin 10 is no good on Ubuntu. When the user has to choose one of 4 artefact types, text is displayed white on white…

The latest Eclipse plugin from Marketplace works with Vaadin 10, however the setting up now project has been changed. We do not have archetypes for Vaadin 10. Thus there is no start new Vaadin 10 project in that menu. Instead you should go to vaadin.com/start and download the starter project base, regular or Spring, import it to Eclipse, and build your project on top of that.

In my message I had a small typo: the existing Eclipse plugin for Vaadin which appears unreadable (white on white) in Ubuntu is of course for Vaadin 8…
