No support for menus and accordeon, really?

Hi Vaadin,

Vaadin 10 looks very promising. However I was astonished that menus aren’t supported any more and there is no plan to add it. If I remember correctly Vaadin has always been advertised as a framework for complex business applications. I think for those kind of applications especially menus are still a very viable option. Applications like JIRA and Confluence use menus and those “are not the worst applications” if it comes to usability.

What is your suggestion to Vaadin 7/8 users having used menus? Same for accordeon.

Drop down menu exists already as polymer component. I assume it will be included in some of the future releases of the platform.

Hi Tatu,

thanks for your reply. Drop down menu looks good. For our planing however, we need a more detailed schedule from Vaadin, and also an update on the missing accordeon control.
