Google App Engine - Vaadin - Communication problem Take note of any unsaved

Getting the below error upon deploying the sample application on Google Cloud App Engine

“Communication problem Take note of any unsaved data, and click here or press ESC to continue.”

Steps
1- Created sample vaadin 8 project using eclipse
2- Ran the application locally - Success, works as expected
3 - Deployed the application to google app engine using eclipse - Above mentioned error. Details are provided in the attachment.

AFAIK, Vaadin 8,
doesn’t
 support GAE. Vaadin 7
does
.

I get the same error on Vaadin 7 also.

We are on the version 7 too.
I have also this error message with (SyntaxError): syntax error stack:

Do you find the solution ?

Thanks Alehandro, This example is too old ( 4 year old). I was trying to use the latest version of Vaadin.

No success till now.
I am interested in using Vaadin but am not able to progress.
