Vaadin.com website tech
Hi All,
I've had a look through the forum, and saw that a similar question was posted in 2007, so thought I would ask again as I'm sure things have changed. I am a Java dev, and would like to create a "modern" looking website. For security reasons, I am want to continue with Java based tech, ideally deployed in WildFly. I've worked with GWT / JBoss Errai, JSF 2.x with Richfaces etc, and am looking also at Vaadin now.
I love the Vaadin samples - what I would like to know is, can Vaadin work as a webpage now, or is even the Vaadin.com site mixing other tech outside of what is delivered by Vaadin?
Looking at the tech comparison chart, it shows that Vaadin is not useful as a website or rather "Build for web pages" = false.
I'm just looking for some modern looking frameworks, that don't involve PHP etc, do rely on JEE, and are not too JavaScript heavy....
Probably too much to ask, my bad :(
Cheers,
Adam
