Vaadin and Java 7
I have a number of applications currently running under Vaadin (6.7.x) and using Java 6 (update 30 or 31). I am looking at moving to Java 7 and eventually to Vaadin 7.x
Are there any known problems I'm likely to run into or issues I need to deal with right away before making either of these moves? Is there a recommended order for
doing these upgrades?
My current idea is to upgrade Java to Java 7 and then later update Vaadin to the new release version...
Comments or suggestions welcome....
thanks,
nbc
From Vaadin Framework point of view the order should not matter.
As we are still tweaking API:s in Vaadin 7, the recommended time for upgrade would be 7.0 beta schedules to beginning of September.
