Setup a new project in Eclipse using the wizard. Test default application configured to run on jetty and works as expected. Would like to test a GWT RPC example. Use the wizard to create a sample widget where when clicked 5 times you get a message. Complie Vaadin Widgetset via the toolbar. Add custom widget to the demo app and get the following error message for the @connector. Spent countless hours searching the error message for clues. Many others have had this problem and appears to be a configuration issue. Tried all the helpful suggestions and can’t resolve.
The expectation is since I am using a vaadin provide wizard to create the project and creat the custom widget in eclipse it should work. I have included the pom.xml file autogenerated where I did add artifactId=vaadin-client so it would resolve com.google.gwt.* imports. The source code is autogenerated. I did add widgetset=“AppWidgetset” based on a help item in a forum in @VaadinServletConfiguration(ui = MyUI.class, productionMode = false, widgetset = “AppWidgetset”)
Was hoping someone could try and reproduce the error using the project wizards in eclipse and determine what isn’t getting configured properly.
