Servlet.service() for servlet VaadinApplication threw exception

In my vaadin application sometimes tomcat throws error like servlet VaadinApplication threw exception , What is mean that?

Can you give an example? My guess is that something went wrong in the application you wrote and the exception propagated up to the servlet container.

If you saw this in your browser, check your server log for more information.
