Were back with another rename of the product. It’s a bit unfortunate to have to make yet another rename but I’ll explain the reasoning.
We want to reserve the “Vaadin elements” term to refer to any and all custom elements (or Web Components if you will) built and maintained by Vaadin. And because we will have both free and commercial elements, we need a clear separation of these.
The Vaadin Core Elements product and package refers to all free elements we build
, licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
The new name will be applied to the element bundle also in GitHub and in Bower. The URLs for the CDN versions will also change to reflect the rename.
