Disabling mouse wheel for Sliders?

I have created a layout with a lot of Slider elements allowing the user to adjust a bunch of values. Now whenever the user scrolls down the page using the mouse wheel and the mouse pointer touches any of the Sliders it gets caught there and instead of scrolling the page the slider is adjusted. So whenever the page is strolled you have to be careful to not touch the sliders in order to not get stuck and accidentally change a value.

Is there a way to disable the sliders from reacting to the mouse wheel to prevent this from happening?

I'm running version 7.5.5
