Your component is great! I would like to make a suggestion regarding the header function. MenuHeader only allows to receive String title, String subtitle and Resource, I would like to pass any component to add in the verticalLayout included in MenuHeader.

Since it is a standard VerticalLayout feel free to extend it and fit it to your needs. For further discussion I recommend opening a nIssue on Github since I can only answer once.
