TreeTable problem

Hi,

I am trying to write my first Vaadin application (we’re evaluating it to replace SmartGWT). I am trying to create a TreeTable that has a checkbox for its first column (by using a custom field factory that just creates and returns a Checkbox instance), but I am hitting some weird alignment issues (screenshot attached).

Before I submit a bug report for it - am I missing something obvious (hopefully)?

TIA

Hi,

I guess you are the one you did this ticket:

Thanks for pointing this out. I fixed the issue just a minute ago. With tomorrows nightly of core Vaadin and svn build of TreeTable that should work fine.

cheers,
matti

Thanx for fixing it - I am really impressed with the response speed - the bug was fixed right after reporting it, on a Saturday :slight_smile:

Cheers,
Lubo

I have the same problem. I use HorizontalLayout as Tree Item. This is my code.

HorizontalLayout hLayout = new HorizontalLayout();
hLayout.addComponent(new CheckBox());
hLayout.addComponent(new Label(nodeBean.getText(),Label.CONTENT_XHTML));

This is my work around.

.v-horizontallayout {
	display:inline-block !important;
	padding-bottom:4px;
}

It work in IE8, FF and Chrome, but not work in IE6 and IE7.

Could anyone solve this problem, please?

Thank you in advanced.

Edit 1 : I have found the solution.

This is my new work around.

.v-horizontallayout {
	display:inline-block !important;
}

.v-ie6 .v-horizontallayout,
.v-ie7 .v-horizontallayout {
	display:inline !important;
}

Edit 2 : Lastest work around

.v-table-cell-wrapper .v-horizontallayout {
	display:inline-block !important;
}

.v-ie6 .v-table-cell-wrapper .v-horizontallayout,
.v-ie7 .v-table-cell-wrapper .v-horizontallayout {
	display:inline !important;
}

Thank you for great add-on.
