Table Scrollbar problem with Chrome

Using Vaadin 7.3.7, and Chrome 40.0.2214.45 beta-m (64-bit), there is a very annoying bug with scrollbars. I have a table which only contains 4 columns and is wide enough and tall enough to display the data without the need for scrollbars. However, the scrollbars appear, seemingly randomly, obscurring the data in the last row. Resizing the window may or may not cause the scrollbars to disappear. Zooming the window also doesn’t fix the problem. I can zoom out to 65%, and the scrollbars still show even though the text has become so small it’s almost unreadable.
The problem does not manifest on IE 11.0x.
If anyone knows a work-around to this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. I hate to have to tell my customers to use IE to get optimal performance.
I have attached an image showing the initial state of the table on loading.

We have seen similar (random) behaviour with Chrome. Firefox and IE is indeed working.

Did you guys have any luck fixing this issue? I am having the same problem. There are a few posts on the forum all relating to this problem.

There is a ticket, but it might need some tests to get it reopened.
