Multiple instances of the same vaadin application.

I searched and tried several things, but I couldn’t find any way to alow multiple instances of the same vaadin application for a single user.

In other words, i’m searching a solution to prevent vaadin from restoring the state of the application when F5 is pressed or when the application is opened in a new tab.

Is there a clean way to do this ?

Instead of multiple applications for a user, you can use multiple (top-level) Vaadin windows for an application, each with its own UI state - you can override Application.getWindow() to do this. There should be several examples of this on the forum and elsewhere as well as some information in the Book of Vaadin, and
