I’m new to vaadin so please be patient. Vaadin looks like a promising technology but this copilot thing does not appear to be ready for prime time. Create a new app and download. build it in eclipse - run it in ecplise - the app works fine. The vaadin copilot seems to be good at generating errors, but nothing else. The documentation is rather poor - or maybe it’s ok, but well hidden.
I can not figure out how to use the copilot- nothing seems work as advertised
Thank you for feedback, we recently introduced new starter project called Walking Skeleton, which seems not to be perfectly compatible with Vaadin Copilot. That might cause wrong impression. Updated Copilot in next 24.7 release should work better.
I hope that won’t discourage you from building your applications with Vaadin itself.

There is now Vaadin 24.7.2 with some related issues fixed. You should give that a try.
There is still no Eclipse plugin though (it is on the roadmap), so you will probably have a better time with IntelliJ (or VS Code).
