How can i change the icon shown in the browser?

Hi All,

I want to change the default (ITMILL icon) shown for browser window. I want to define my own icon for my project.

Is it possible? if yes how?
Can anyone help me?

I assume you’re talking about the favicon.ico file.

Use a theme, and drop the favicon.ico file to the root of the theme. That’s WebContent/ITMILL/themes/themename/favicon.ico.

Hi dysii,

I am taking about the small icon was shown if i hit the application URL. That icon will be shown for the browser main window.

For example, if you hit yahoo.com, you can see one small "Y’ icon in the browser window. I want to change that.

Is it possible?

Like dysii said, it can be overriden in a custom theme, with favicon.ico.
