Thanks for the feedback. Support for “Ctrl + click” would be a great feature! At this time I am mostly focused on ironing out any major issues with the current integration of the [multiselect-combo-box]
(https://vaadin.com/directory/component/gatanasomultiselect-combo-box). However, I would consider adding this sometime in the future.

Yes, I am considering adding V10 support as I believe there shouldn’t be any major blockers to use this component with V10.

Have you tried to use it with V10 and if so have there been any issues?

Hello Goran, any news about the v10 compatibility. It is an important LTS version and your component will be a excellent addition!!

I tried your component in v10 and it isn’t working.

We get this message: “Error loading http://localhost:9080/test-project/frontend/bower_components/vaadin-themable-mixin/vaadin-theme-property-mixin.html”

and somethig about an Script error in “http://localhost:9080/test-project/frontend/bower_components/multiselect-combo-box/src/multiselect-combo-box.html.js”

Hello,

Thank you for raising this question. Also, my apologies for not following up on the earlier request regarding Vaadin 10 support.

I did investigate the possibility to add backward compatibility for Vaadin 10. However, due to some features of the vaadin-combo-box that are not available in Vaadin 10, it is more complicated to make the multiselect-combo-box compatible with this version of the platform and also maintain feature parity.

Have you considered the possibility of moving to Vaadin 14 which will also be an LTS version? It is currently very close to being released, and I recommend you look into it if possible. As an added benefit, the MultiselectComboBox works quite nicely with this LTS version :)

Vaadin 10 is a customer requirement so I can’t move… and they will wait sometime to move their production environment to v14, till they are sure it is stable enough.
