Hello Ryan,
first of all thanks for the cool addon.
I have a question regarding the license. The description says that this addon runs under Apache License 2.0. This is not copyleft. However, CKEditor is distributed under the GPL 2+ license. Do I need a license from CKEditor (CKEditor & add-ons pricing - Choose a plan or craft your own flexible offer). My project must be closed sourced and i do not want to use the premium features from ckeditor (pfd/word export etc…).

Hi Jan, you need to follow the rule of Apache License 2.0 and GPL 2+ license. If your closed source is using ckeditor source codes, you need to make sure ckeditor related code accessible to public. I am not a lawyer, you’d better ask your lawyer for certain.
