Firefox: Failed to load the bootstrap javascript

I’ve read the related posts and tried all the given hints - but nothing helps.

With Firefox Version 26.0 I always get the error “Failed to load the bootstrap javascript: ./VAADIN/vaadinBootstrap.js”. My application runs fine in Chrome Version 31 and Internet Exlporer Version 11.

I’m new to Vaadin (7.1.19) and pretty surprised having such troubles in connection with Firefox.
