Double clicking on an item icon in a table.

'Hi all,

First of all thanks to all Vaadin developers for creating such a productive framework.
My question is regarding detecting double-clicks on an icon of a table item. I have created a table where icons are displayed for each item. Detecting double clicks on the items works well, so does drag and drop handling, but only when I am clicking on a non-icon cell.

Here is a Scala snippet of how my table is setup:

"
folderContentTable.setColumnExpandRatio(NAME,1.0f)
folderContentTable.setRowHeaderMode(Table.ROW_HEADER_MODE_ICON_ONLY)
folderContentTable.setItemIconPropertyId(ICON)
folderContentTable.setVisibleColumns(Array(NAME,TYPE,CLIP_ID,ZONE_ID,DATE_CREATED,EXPIRES))
"

Where ICON,NAME,TYPE,CLIP_ID,ZONE_ID,DATE_CREATED,EXPIRES are just string constants.

Also, where I try the following online demo (http://demo.vaadin.com/sampler/#TableSorting) I can’t seem to be able to select a table item by clicking on its icon, so maybe it is due to the same limitation.

Thanks in advance for you help.

I’ve been struggling with the same matter and I created a ticket about it two weeks ago at the Vaadin trac.

Cheers Jens,
I should have checked the issue tracking first before posting to the forums.
