Can somebody help me under to find out under which license this addon is distributed?
It says “Apache 2.0” on the side, to me this seems not correct.
While I am not a lawyer, I checked the source code and it contains the actual ckeditor5 source which is (if you don’t have purchased a license key) is distributed under GPL-v2. This causes at least some of the source code to be GPL-v2 aswell, right?
It would be really nice if somebody could clear up this topic for me.
Very good question. GPL-V2 is not compatible with Apache 2.0, so this addon needs further agreement with CKSource to embed CKEditor 5 freely.
Lucky me, CKSource provide free license to opensource.
