The component is a statistics card that can be placed on a dashboard or similar surface to display to the user some metric that is occurring or has occurred within the system. The current design of the component was inspired working in the Power Bi environment and the OkViz Card with States component, see https://okviz.com/blog/introducing-card-with-states-v1-3/ The statistics card has a headline statistic followed by the category / name of the statistic and a sparkline of the states of the statistic over time. If no states over time is appropriate then only a single value can be shown as well.
