Résumé

Vaadin est un framework de développement d'applications web utilisant AJAX et contrôlées côté serveur qui permet aux développeurs de créer en Java des interfaces homme-machine de haute qualité. Il fournit une bibliothèque de composants prêts à l'emploi et un framework complet pour en créer de nouveaux. L'accent est mis sur la simplicité d'utilisation, la possibilité de réutilisation et l'extensibilité tout en répondant aux éxigeances des applications de grandes entreprises. Vaadin est utilisé en production depuis 2001 et s'est avéré être adapté à la mise en place d'applications au sein d'entreprises exigeantes.
